Thank you for your interest in our products such as the .458 SOCOM and .338 Spectre.  Due to having accepted a new assignment that requires us to move overseas for an extended period of time, we are not taking any new orders as of 2011 and are working to complete all existing orders. 

We have formed a strategic alliance with Southern Ballistic Research (SBR) and they will be continuing our product line under our name during our absence.  They will be producing the same great uppers and components, using the same top shelf components and workmanship, but should be able to produce more due to a dedicated facility and staff.  We anticipate that they will be able to take orders starting the summer of 2011, if not sooner.  Their website can be found here

Rock River Arms is also producing 16” .458 SOCOM uppers in a configuration similar to our “basic model” as well as some other versions and they are fully licensed and supported by us.  Their wait time tends to be less and some of their dealers may even have uppers in stock.  We are also telling folks to check the “for sale” areas on AR15.com, Gunbroker as well as our own forum for uppers that come up for sale from time to time.

 We realize this may be a disappointing news, but some opportunities cannot be refused and we are confident that SBR will be able to meet all your needs and expectations.

To place an order for the upper of your choice, the best route is to send  us an Email.  There are a few simple steps that will make the process go smoothly.  We typically use DPMS parts, but we can build the upper using just about any AR-15 component that you can think of.  Also, we will use customer supplied parts as long as they are in safe operating condition and do not pose a hazard to the shooter or bystanders.

THE MONEY QUESTIONS

   We typically require a deposit to cover the larger items, unless we are dealing with highly unusual requests. 
   We do not ship until we have sent you a picture of the upper for approval and have confirmed this with you. 
  The typical minimum upper price is $865.00 retail.  Items marked with ** may cost more. 
  Payment can be made by Money Order, Cashiers Check or PayPal. 
  Refunds will be made only for items defective in workmanship. If you have a problem with your upper, 
         we will make every attempt to remedy the issue. Uppers that are abused or used with defective or 
         hand loaded ammunition cannot be returned for a refund. 
  The customer is responsible for determining the legality of owning an AR-15 style rifle in their locale, 
         as well as the legality of any particular configuration. We make rifles that are fun to shoot, different, 
         but do not guarantee them to do anything but perhaps amuse you. What you use it for is your
